The fourth layer: balance layer. It is a special layer of paper with a certain strength and thickness, and it is impregnated with resin to prevent moisture and deformation of the floor.
Strictly speaking, the waterproof performance of composite wood flooring is relatively poor. Water is the natural enemy of the floor, and any floor cannot withstand blisters. It can be said that so far, there is no real waterproof floor, and the same is true for composite wood flooring.
If the composite wood floor is soaked in water, the water on the floor should be absorbed as soon as possible. Do not use an electric stove or expose it to the sun, which will easily cause the floor to crack.
It is also very simple to test the waterproof performance of the floor, just take some water drops on the floor, observe the water absorption of the paint surface and the flow of water on the paint surface. Tilt the floor and if the water flows in beads, it means the floor is waterproof.
