Reinforced composite flooring, that is, reinforced composite flooring, also known as laminated wood flooring, laminated flooring, etc., is officially called impregnated paper laminated wood flooring in the country. The impregnated paper laminated wooden floor is one or more layers of special paper impregnated with thermosetting amino resin pavement on the surface of particleboard, medium density board, high density fiberboard and other wood-based board substrates, with a balance layer on the back and a wear-resistant layer on the front. Laminated wood floors.
Laminate flooring is composed of wear-resistant layer, decorative layer, base layer and balance layer.
The first layer: wear-resistant layer. It is mainly composed of Al2O3 (aluminum oxide), which has strong wear resistance and hardness. Some reinforced composite floors composed of melamine cannot meet the requirements of the standard.
The second layer: decorative layer. It is a layer of paper impregnated with melamine resin, printed with wood grain or other patterns imitating precious tree species.
The third layer: the grassroots. It is a medium density or high density laminate. After high temperature and high pressure treatment, it has certain moisture-proof and flame-retardant properties. The basic material is wood fiber.
The fourth layer: balance layer. It is a special layer of paper with a certain strength and thickness, and it is impregnated with resin to prevent moisture and deformation of the floor.
Strictly speaking, the waterproof performance of composite wood flooring is relatively poor. Water is the natural enemy of the floor, and any floor cannot withstand blisters. It can be said that so far, there is no real waterproof floor, and the same is true for composite wood flooring.
If the composite wood floor is soaked in water, the water on the floor should be absorbed as soon as possible. Do not use an electric stove or expose it to the sun, which will easily cause the floor to crack.
It is also very simple to test the waterproof performance of the floor, just take some water drops on the floor, observe the water absorption of the paint surface and the flow of water on the paint surface. Tilt the floor and if the water flows in beads, it means the floor is waterproof.
If you use composite wood flooring, try not to let water soak on it in daily life.
Advantages of Laminate Flooring
1. Wear-resisting: the reinforced composite floor that really meets the national standard is about 10 to 30 times that of ordinary lacquered floor;
2. Beautiful: Various wood grains, patterns and colors can be simulated by computer;
3. Stability: It completely breaks up the original wood organization, destroys the anisotropy and the characteristics of swelling and shrinking, and the size is extremely stable, especially suitable for rooms with floor heating systems.
In addition, laminate flooring also has impact resistance, antistatic, pollution resistance, light resistance, cigarette burning resistance, easy installation, and simple maintenance.
Laminate Flooring Disadvantages
1. The reinforced composite floor cannot be repaired after being damaged by blisters, and the foot feel is poor.
2. It should be pointed out that some floor sellers on the market call their laminate flooring "waterproof floor". This is only for the surface.
Abrasion resistant revolutions for laminate flooring
In the market, some laminate floorings have a high number of wear-resistant rotations, but the reliability is not necessarily high. The national standard stipulates that the number of revolutions required for household wear-resistant products should be ≥ 4000 revolutions.

The emergence of PVC-Free flooring signifies a paradigm shift in the flooring industry. With products like CWC, MFC, and PP-click leading the charge, harmful substances such as polyvinyl chloride (PVC) are being phased out in favor of eco-friendly alternatives.
Polyvinyl chloride (PVC), commonly known as vinyl, is one of the most prevalent types of plastics used globally. It's found in a wide array of products including everyday items, infrastructure, plumbing, home wares, electronics, healthcare products, and toys.
The Importance of Waterproof Flooring in BathroomsMoisture and water are the number one enemies of artificial flooring like laminate. If traditional laminate boards or floor tiles are stained with water, the floor will expand and deform, the edges will warp, and the board body will arch.
What is CWC and what is SPC?CWC is the latest waterproof laminate flooring. Due to the upgrade of technology and the update of raw materials, its performance is much higher than ordinary laminate and common products on the market.
